Aquaponic Farmers To Meet Up This September

Aquaponic growers, don’t miss out on your opportunity to mingle with other hydroponic farmers in your field. The National Aquaponics Association will be hosting their annual conference at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort this year in Tuscon, Arizona from September 20th to 22nd.

The conference is designed to facilitate interactions between growers and hopes to provide an insight into the industry for both novices and experts alike. The three day event will consist of presentations as well as tours of small and large scale operations.

Joel Salatin of Virginia’s Polyface Farms will lead the conference along with Max Meyes of Nor Cal Aquaponics and the Mendocino Ecological Learning Center in California. Tuscon’s mayor has proved a fan of the event as well and has agreed to host the opening ceremony. He has also crowned September 20th as the city’s official “Aquaponics Day”

Tickets for the event cost $395 per person. They can be purchased at http://www.aquaponicsassociation.org.
