Hydroponics Supplements: Beat Stress & Increase Maximum Yield

Heat and intense light can stress your hydroponics plants. Heat and intense light can stress your hydroponics plants.

Your hydroponics plants experience stress just like we all do, and some of it is good for them: Air movement forces plants to channel energy into strengthening their stems. Thirst and hunger force plants to dig deeper for hydroponics nutrients, which translates into more and stronger roots. Low-stress training (LST) manipulates your hydroponics plants using bending and other techniques that shape plants to create maximum yield.

Some stressors push your plants to become stronger and more productive. Others stressors are too much for your plants to handle, so growth and productivity suffer.

However, too much stress of the wrong kind can be detrimental. Think about heat - hydroponics indoor growers may have hydroponics grow rooms that are running too hot, especially from May through October.

On the other hand, plants grown outdoors face intense sun, heat, humidity, pests and intense weather that hydroponics indoor plants never face.

Indoors or outdoors, your plants must cope with heat, cold, drought, nutrients problems and other stressors. Some stressors push your plants to become stronger and more productive. Others stressors are too much for your plants to handle, so growth and productivity suffer.

Armor your plants against stress using hydroponics supplements. Of course, your first and fundamental stress-busting tactic is to provide your hydroponics plants with a quality base nutrients program, clean water, and the most ideal environment possible.

Beyond that, there are three powerhouses that stoke plant function and stress resistance. One of them is silica. This material is so pervasive in fertile soil that we forget the obvious fact that it isn’t abundantly present in most hydroponics root zones. You have to add silica in the form of potassium silicate, and the hydroponics silicate formula you add has to be properly configured for maximum absorption.

When you add silica to hydroponics feeding, your plants get an extra boost of a compound they truly need for their basic structural strength. Internal and external cell walls are strengthened, which works against heat stress and pest attacks. Overall plant function is enhanced when you add silica to your hydroponics feeding.

You also use hydroponics B vitamins (there are several B vitamins and it’s best to use a formula that combines them in the right ratios and types for your hydroponics plants).

You might use a B vitamin supplement when you’re experiencing personal stress, and B vitamins work for your hydroponics plants in much the same way. They support metabolic functions in a different way than hydroponics nutrients do. B vitamins help defeat hydroponics stress and you get the added benefit that hydroponics B vitamins boost floral production and potency.

When it comes to your hydroponics plants’ roots, stress comes from overwatering, incorrect root zone pH, hydroponics nutrients overfeeding or nutrient quality issues, pathogens, and spatial limitations.

You use hydroponics beneficial fungi and beneficial bacteria to enhance and protect your hydroponics roots so they resist disease, overwatering, nutrients burn and other problems. The add-on advantage is that beneficial microbes also enhance root function so your hydroponics plants absorb water, nutrients and oxygen more efficiently.

You might use a B vitamin supplement when you’re experiencing personal stress, and B vitamins work for your hydroponics plants in much the same way.

And as with B vitamins and silica supplementation, you get more than stress-protection from beneficials in the root zone, you get larger and more valuable harvests.

Stress can induce your hydroponics plants to up their game and become stronger and more productive. Or stress can exceed your plants’ ability to handle it, reducing your plants’ productivity and health. You have the power to help your hydroponics plants handle stress successfully so…

Take a look at hydroponics silica, B vitamins and beneficial microbes, and see how they work against stress and also provide an overall boost to your hydroponics garden’s maximum yield output and profitability!
