Is Your Girlfriend Losing Interest? Win Her Back… Or Not

A girl who is losing interest won’t stick around long. A girl who is losing interest won’t stick around long.

Guys, listen; I know you’re busy and you lead hectic lives. I understand you have work priorities, especially if you’re a dedicated hydroponics grower. It’s great that you’re enjoying the awesome hydro lifestyle, but are you so obsessed with growing that you’re neglecting your girlfriend? Let this be a wake-up call; while you think everything is fine, she may be losing interest. You need to decide if this is the woman for you. And if she is, some tweaks to the relationship might be in order.

If you’re the type of guy who showers his girl with lavish gifts and weekend getaways, that’s really commendable.

Some women need a lot of attention. If you’re the type of guy who showers his girl with lavish gifts and weekend getaways, that’s really commendable. But what about the day-to-day stuff? Do you call your girl on a regular basis? Text her just to say “I miss you”? Send her a random e-card that reminds her how much you love her? These are the types of gestures women really value – even more than the diamond bracelet you just gave her. Are you prepared to meet her needs? If not, it may be time to reconsider your choice of partner. But if you decide this is a relationship worth pursuing, don’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves.

Signs to Watch For

All right, she’s not necessarily about to dump you, but let’s break it down and see if she’s given you any clues. Here are a few things to watch for that might indicate your girlfriend is losing interest:

  • Less frequent phone calls
  • Makes more plans without you
  • Stops talking about your future together
  • Hangs out with more guy friends (even worse – flirts)
  • Picks more fights with you
  • Late for dates – or ditches them all together
  • Lower tolerance for your B.S.
  • Initiates sex less often
  • Shuts you down when you’re ready for lovin’

Some of these actions by themselves may not be a cause for alarm. In fact, some of the may even be welcome! Either way, it doesn’t mean she’s ready to pull the plug. On the other hand, if you’re noticing several of the above behaviors – it may be time to make some adjustments.

Win Her Over… Or Not

Obviously if you ignore the warning signs, things won’t just clear up on their own. If you have any niggling doubts that your girlfriend is losing interest, take steps now to win her back. Your first move should be asking her for a date and making it as special as possible. Flowers, a candle-lit dinner, your best cologne – go all out. Set the mood for a romantic evening (her favorite restaurant, of course), and keep the lines of communication open. Heart-to-heart talk is the only way to develop or maintain a healthy relationship.

If your girlfriend is losing interest, it may mean one of two things: 1. Taking a step back from your hydroponics business, or 2. Re-evaluating your compatibility. In the first case, don’t sweat it - once you get things good with your girl, you’ll transition right back into the hydro world like you’d never left. In the second case, it’s important to remember that not every woman is cut out to date a hydroponics grower. If you’re the type of guy who puts his little green babies first no matter what, that’s something you need to be upfront about. For some growers, a lucrative hydroponics business won’t mean anything without the love of his life by his side. For others, it’s all about the green. But with a balanced attitude, diligence, and hard work, any guy can be a successful hydro grower and maintain a healthy relationship… with the right woman.
