I’ve been in the grow business for years, and one of the questions I’m often asked is about nutrients – organic or synthetic, which is better? I think it comes down to preference, and also what medium you are using, so I usually tell my customers to do their research to decide which nutrients best suit their needs and their particular set-up or system. But I’m going to go more in depth into my thoughts on synthetic nutrients versus organic nutrients today.

Hydroponics growers know that what you feed your plants makes all the difference in how your plants grow, resist stress, and produce. That’s why you only want hydroponics health foods that carry concentrated amounts and the right ratios of essential nutrients and deliver them faster into plants.

‘Going organic’ is the buzzword lately. If you’ve already joined the bandwagon, or plan to do so, we would like to commend you for more than one reason; first, it's a good chance that you won't get any healthier options than organics, and second, you’re contributing to saving the environment. For those who think organics is for health nuts only, think again; they’re for all the right players of the game!

Organic hydroponics fertilizers and supplements are key to maximum yield, whether you grow outdoors or in an indoor urban garden.

If you’re planning an outdoor garden, it’s good to utilize the Heavy Harvest series of outdoor maximum yield fertilizers that are designed for once a season application. No more daily hikes through the thorns and swamps. Just one hike in spring, summer and fall is the ticket you’ll love.
